Guatemala (Update)
On 6 October 2023, the Guatemala National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (CONRED per its acronym in Spanish) published an update on the rainy season in the country. There have been 962 severe rain incidents reported nationally (77 increase since the 3 October report). At least 2,782,357 people were affected (474,970 increase), 36,680 people were attended to (2,139 increase), 15,513 people were evacuated (3,863 increase), 14,096 people are considered at risk (3,878 increase), 45 deaths were reported (1 increase), and 9 people are missing (1 decrease).
