Uruguay (Update)
On 8 November 2023, the Uruguay National Emergency System published information on the heavy rains occurring in Artigas, Paysandú, and Salto, Uruguay. Currently 3,173 people have been displaced from their homes (167 increase since the 5 November report), 238 were evacuated and 2,935 self-evacuated (175 increase). The displaced persons geographically correspond to Paysandú (1,956 total, representing a 120 increase), Salto (1,054 total, representing a 63 increase), and Artigas (179 total).
