On 28 April 2023, the Chile National Disaster Prevention and Response Service (SENAPRED per its acronym in Spanish), published information reporting heavy rains caused by a frontal system, mostly affecting the regions of Ñuble and La Araucanía. The heavy rains affected 70 homes and a total of 41 emergency homes that had been opened to shelter persons affected by prior wildfires in those areas. In the regions of Ñuble and Los Lagos, there are 102,523 customers without power due to the rainfall. The report is available from: SENAPRED
