United States of America (Update) 

On 7 December, the United States Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) provided an update to the conditions in Hawaii due to heavy rains and subsequent flooding that have affected Maui and the Island of Hawaii (Big Island). A Flash Flood Warning was implemented in Oahu and a Flood Watch is in effect for both Oahu and Kauai counties. In addition, there are 5 shelters currently open with 17 occupants and many roads are closed on the Big Island, Maui, and Oahu. In total 1% of residents are without power and 10 cellular sites are out of service. According to a media report, a State of Emergency has been declared and residents are being urged to prepare for major flooding, landslides, road closures, and damage to homes and infrastructure.
