United States of America (Update)  

On 18 April, the United States Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) provided an update to the ongoing Hermits Peak and McBride Fires in New Mexico. The Hermits Peak Fire in San Miguel, New Mexico, has burned 7,545 acres, and is 61% contained. There are currently 150 residents under mandatory evacuation orders, 295 houses are threatened, 1 house and 6 non-residential structures were destroyed, and 2 people were injured. The McBride Fire in Lincoln, New Mexico has burned 6,159 acres and is 80% contained. The previous mandatory evacuation order has been lifted; however, 1,456 houses remain under threat, 207 houses and 124 non-residential structures were destroyed, and 2 people were injured.
