On 5 September 2020, the Government of Huila Department in Colombia, reported 3 deaths linked to the heavy rains affecting the Suaza Municipality. Media has additionally reported landslides affecting the road from Suaza-Florencia and causing road closures. Landslides have affected agricultural land in the following municipalities: Guadalupe, Acevedo, Pitalito, and Altamira. Elsewhere, in Puerto Libertador Municipality, Cordoba Department, heavy rain and strong winds affected 500 homes and 11 temples. Panama
On 8 September 2020, the Panama National System of Civil Protection National Emergency Operations Center (SINAPROC) reported heavy rain and an overflow of the Bonete, Mamoní, La Primavera, and El Llano rivers affecting 68 homes in Chepo District, Panama. On 7 September 2020, the United States Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), reported a fire occurred on Saturday, 5 September, threatening the following communities in Fresno and Madera cities, California State: Camp Sierra, Big Creek, Shaver Lake, Huntington Lake, Auberry, Meadow Lakes, Mammoth Pools, Cascadel Woods, North Fork, Arnold Meadows, Bass Lake, Kinsman Flat, and Beasore Meadows (combined population 5,600).  To date, 3,000 mandatory evacuations were held and 2 shelters are open. The same date, another fire began burning federal, state, and private land in San Bernardino City, California, and additionally threatened 3,754 homes in Yucaipa city and Oak Glen.
