On 16 September 2020, the Mayor of Iztapalapa Municipality in Mexico City, Mexico, reported heavy rain affecting 37 neighborhoods. Media reported, floods affected at least 250 households; the most a affected neighborhoods due to floods were: Aculco, Los Cipreses, El Sifón, Barrio de Santa Bárbara, and Desarrollo Urbano Quetzalcóatl. Hurricane Sally (Update)

On 16 September 2020, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NOAA) reported that Hurricane Sally caused catastrophic and life-threatening flooding over portions of the Florida Panhandle, Florida and southern Alabama. Media reported, 543 people in the south end of Okaloosa County, Florida were in need of evacuation early this morning.
