Guatemala (Update)
On 13 September 2020, the Guatemala National Coordinator for the Reduction of Disasters (CONRED) provided an update regarding the rainy season impact in Guatemala. Per the update, 1,205,458 people were affected (an increase of 161,869 since the last report on 18 August), 4,495 were injured (an increase of 776), and 8,524 were evacuated (an increase of 936). Additionally, 2,230 homes were moderately damaged, 273 homes were severely damaged, and 186 highways were affected. The report is available in Spanish at: CONRED.
 
Hurricane Sally
On 14 September 2020, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NOAA) reported that Hurricane Sally is strengthening and is expected to cause life-threatening storm surge and flash floods along portions of the northern Gulf Coast tonight. The Hurricane Warning has been extended eastward along the coast of the Florida Panhandle to Navarre, Florida. The report is available in English at: NHC

Venezuela 

On 13 September 2020, media reported heavy rain and an overflow of El Limon river in Aragua State, Venezuela affecting more than 2,000 people and 45 households. In addition, floods affected access to potable water in the following communities: El Piñal, Caja de Agua, Corral de Piedra, La Ceiba, Arias Blanco, El Progreso, and La Candelaria.
