On 9 October 2020, the U.S. National Hurricane Center (NOAA), reported that Hurricane Delta is now moving northwestward toward the southern Louisiana Coast. Hurricane conditions and life-threatening storm surge is expected in the landfall area during the next several hours. A hurricane warning is in effect for High Island Texas to the Mouth of the Pearl River including Calcasieu Lake, Vermilion Bay, and Lake Borgne in Louisiana State.
