On 30 October 2020, the El Salvador Civil Protection reported heavy rain and landslides in the metropolitan of San Salvador City, El Salvador. Media reported, landslides caused at least 35 people to be buried under the mud and seven deaths were reported in Nejapa Municipality. Risk assessment is ongoing.
