On 3 November 2020, the National Unit for Disaster Risk Management (UNGRD) reported heavy rain and floods occurred in Magdalena Municipality, Magdalena Department in Colombia affecting 9,200 families. An overflow of the Fundación, Sevilla, Tucurinca, Frío, Aracataca, and Ariguari rivers affected the municipalities of Fundación, El Retén, Bananera Zone, Aracataca, Algarrobo, Pueblo Viejo, and Ciénaga. On 5 November 2020, media reported heavy rains in Tabasco State, Mexico where 57,000 people were affected and caused one death due to the severe weather.
