Dominican Republic  
On 10 November 2020, the Dominican Republic Emergency Operations Center (COE) issued a severe weather alert due to risk of heavy downpours, thunderstorms, and heavy winds. The provinces of El Gran Santo Domingo, Barahona, San Cristóbal, San José de Ocoa, and Peravia are all under a yellow alert. Media reported that more than 1,125 people have been evacuated due to heavy rainfall. In addition, 225 homes have been affected by the excess rain, of which 222 were partially destroyed and 3 were totally destroyed. The reports are available in Spanish at: COE and Al Momento.  
 
Mexico  
On 9 November 2020, the Mexican National Coordinator of Civil Protection reported heavy rains and flooding. In Tabasco state, a total of 148,057 people were affected, and 35,982 homes were damaged In Chiapas state, 15,985 people were affected, and 19,485 houses were damaged. In Veracruz state, 149 people were affected with 79 houses damaged. There were 5 reported deaths in Tabasco, and 22 deaths in Chiapas. Argentina  

On 9 November 2020, the Argentina Director of Civil Protection reported that 1,500 families were affected by an overflow in Junín. In addition, 10 homes were destroyed, and the most affected populations were from El Rosal and Santa Bárbara. The report can be found in Spanish at: La Nación.  
 
Venezuela  
On 9 November 2020, media reported an overflow of the Capiú River in Gibraltar parish affecting 280 families residing in agricultural areas. This marks the fifth time during 2020 that the Capiú River has overflowed, however, it is the first time thatresidents of the area are at risk of losing their homes and belongings. In addition, media reported that the Purureche and Piedra Grande parishes in the Democracia Municipality  have been completely isolated due to heavy rain that caused the rise of several streams, the collapse of hills, and the overflow of rivers in the area. This has posed a risk asresidents ofthe area are effectively trapped and cannot leave. Aide has been requested by the affected population.
