On 30 April 2020, media reported floods due to the overflow of a tributary of the San Juan river affected 200 families in several neighborhoods of Istmina municipality, Chocó, Colombia. Affected neighborhoods include Eduardo Santos, Pueblo Nuevo, San Francisco, Cubis, Primero de Mayo, Diego Luis and Independencia. The report is available in Spanish at: Radio National Colombia.
