On 28 March 2021, the Civil Defense of Para State in Brazil, reported heavy rain and floods affecting 296 families in the municipality of Rio Maria. The Military Fire Department of Para provided humanitarian assistance (kits) to affected families. In addition, the severe weather affected transportation networks and several bridges.
