Peru (update)
On 12 March 2021, the National Emergency Operation Center (COEN) updated their report regarding heavy rain in the provinces of Morropon, Piura, Huancabamba, Talara, and Sullana in Piura Department, Peru. To date, 1,736 persons and 675 homes were affected; 178 houses were destroyed, and 914 people were injured. In addition, 12 healthcare facilities were affected due to heavy rain. Wildfire
Argentina
On 12 March 2021, the Argentina Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development reported wildfires in the following provinces: Rio Negro, Chubut, Buenos Aires, Entre Rios, San Luis, and Neuquen.
