El Salvador
On 7 June 2020, the Government of El Salvador reported that the national Red Alert remains in effect due to risk of floods and landslides, and that 358 shelters have been activated nationwide. Additionally, media reported that 350 families were evacuated due to an overflow of the Rio Grande River in San Miguel Municipality. Guatemala
On 7 June 2020, the Guatemala National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (CONRED) reported incidents caused by heavy rains and Tropical Storm Cristobal. To date, a total of 469,148 persons have been affected (an increase of 59,587 from the previous report on 5 June). The report is available in Spanish at: CONRED.
 
Mexico
Between 5 and 7 June 2020, the Government of Mexico passed an Emergency Declaration for 26 municipalities in Yucatan State, 1 municipality in Tabasco State, 9 municipalities in Chiapas State, and 4 municipalities in Quintana Roo State, due to the severe rain and storm activity that has occurred between 31 May and 5 June 2020. The declaration activates the resources of the Fund for Emergency Attention (FONDEN), which enables authorities to meet the food, shelter, and health needs of affected populations. Additionally, media reported that nearly 2,000 persons were affected by flooding due to remnants of Tropical Storm Cristobal in Atoyac Municipality, Veracruz State. In Yucatan State, media reported that 95,000 hectares of crops were damaged due to Tropical Storm Cristobal, which represents 85% of the state's cultivated area. United States of America (Alert)
On 8 June 2020, the United States Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) reported that a State of Emergency has been activated in the State of Lousiana due to Tropical Storm Cristobal. According to media, nearly 9 million persons are under tropical storm warnings as the storm is expected to drop up to a foot of rain. The report is available in English at: FEMA, CBS News.
