Tropical Storm Amanda (Update) 
El Salvador

On 5 June 2020, the Government of El Salvador reported that a total of 12,154 persons are housed in shelters (an increase of 975 from the previous report on 3 June) to date due to Tropical Storm Amanda. The report is available in Spanish at: Gobierno De El Salvador
 
Tropical Storm Cristobal
 
El Salvador (Alert)
On 5 June 2020, the El Salvador Ministry of the Environment reported a very high risk of landslides occurring across the national territory due to heavy rains caused by Tropical Storm Cristobal. The hillside areas around San Salvador Volcano, Santa Ana Volcano, San Vicente Volcano, the Berlin-Tecapa Volcanic complex, the San Miguel Volcano, and the Bálsamo mountain range have been identified as particularly high-risk. Additionally, there is a very high risk of overflow for the rivers Paz, Grande de Sonsonate, Grande de San Miguel, Goascorán, and the rivers of the hydrographic regions of Cara Sucia-San Pedro, Mandinga-Comalapa, Estero de Jaltepeque, Bahía de Jiquilisco, Sirama, Jiboa, and Lempa. Moreover, media reported that 1,500 families in Puerto Parada, Usulután Department, are at-risk and will be evacuated due to the possible overflow of the Rio Grande River. Guatemala

On 5 June 2020, the Guatemala National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (CONRED) reported incidents caused by heavy rains and Tropical Storm Cristobal. To date, a total of 409,561 persons have been affected (an increase of 103,418 from the previous report on 4 June). The report is available in Spanish at: CONRED.
 
Mexico
On 4 June 2020, the Government of Mexico reported that tropical storms Cristobal and Amanda have affected homes in 12 municipalities in 4 states, caused landslides in 15 municipalities in 2 states, and led to evacuations in 9 municipalities in 5 states. Additionally, 3 hospitals have been affected and shelters have been activated in 6 municipalities in 4 states. According to a United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) report, a total of 202 homes have been affected and 619 persons evacuated as of 4 June 2020. Moreover, the Government of Mexico reported that nearly 7 million persons continue to be at-risk due to Tropical Storm Cristobal. United States of America (Alert)
