Tropical Depression 3 (Alert)
On 1 June 2020, the United States National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) published a public advisory regarding Tropical Depression Three. A Tropical Storm Warning is in effect for Campeche to Puerto de Veracruz, Mexico. Additionally, Tropical Depression Three is expected to produce heavy rain over parts of the Mexican states of Tabasco and Veracruz, Mexico, and adjacent portions of Guatemala. This system is also expected to produce rain over parts of El Salvador and Honduras. The report is available in English at: NOAA

Tropical Storm Amanda
El Salvador and Guatemala

On 1 June 2020, the Guatemala National Coordinator for Disaster Reduction (CONRED) reported that a total of 122,442 persons were affected, 2 persons had died, 458 persons were injured, and 676 persons were evacuated in the national territory due to Tropical Storm Amanda. Additionally, 458 houses have been damaged and 3 bridges have been affected. Similarly, on 1 June 2020, the Government of El Salvador reported that 24,125 families were affected, 16 persons had died and 7,225 persons are housed in shelters in the national territory as a result of Tropical Storm Amanda. On 31 May 2020, the United States Federal Emergency Managament Agency (FEMA) reported wildfires around the town of Cave Creek, Maricopa County, Arizona, which endangered 500 homes and resulted in mandatory evacuation for 1,000 residents. The report is available in English at: FEMA
