On 14 July 2020, the Guatemala National Coordinator for the Reduction of Disasters (CONRED) reported that 70,098 people were affected, 680 people were evacuated, 74 were housed in shelters, and 157 houses were damaged due to severe weather in the first 13 days of July. The affected departments are Chiquimula, Guatemala, Huehuetenango, Jalapa, Retalhuleu, Santa Rosa, Sololá, Suchitepéquez, and Zacapa. The report is available in Spanish at: CONRED.
