Bolivia (update)
On 25 January 2021, Bolivia Ministry of Defense, reported an update on the severe rain in the country; heavy rain affected 48 municipalities and 7 departments of Bolivia. To date, a total of 15,593 families, 873 homes, and 7,438 hectares of agricultural land were affected. In addition, 8 deaths occurred and 78 homes were completely destroyed due to the severe weather. Peru
On 24 January 2021, the National Emergency Operation Center (COEN), reported heavy rain and an overflow of the Lampa, Quiscamayo, Cara Cara, Churuchana, and Illpamayo rivers in Lampa Province in Puno Department, Peru. Floods affected 250 people and households as well as 1,500 agricultural land. The report is available in Spanish at: COEN.
