On 30 November 2020, media reported heavy rain and flooding in Carmen del Darien Municipality, Choco Department, Colombia. There were 310 families, indigenous communities, and more than 45 hectares of agricultural land affected due to an overflow of the Domingo river. In addition, the report indicated that in 19 municipalities of Choco Department, more than 35,000 people and 8,198 families were affected, and 2 deaths occurred due to the severe weather.
