Saint Vincent and the Grenadines (update)

On 21 April 2021, during the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines daily press conference, it was reported that the World Central Kitchen is currently providing a total of 4,000 meals a day, and the hospitality facilities of the Community College have been made available which will allow the production of 10,000 daily meals. According to the Caribbean Disaster Emergency Management Agency (CDEMA) the area in the red zone has suffered 100% loss of vegetation including 90% of damage to tree crops and the orange zone has a reported 80% loss of vegetation. On 21 April, the National Institute of Civil Defense (INDECI as per its acronym in Spanish) reported an overflow of the Cuscomayo River due to heavy rainfall recorded on 20 April; crops, homes and an educational institution were affected. Additionally, landslides damaged roads in the town of San Martin de Otari and some villages in the district of Pichari, province of La Convención, department of Cusco.
