On 13 April 2020, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) reported that on 12 April 2020, severe thunderstorms and significant long-track tornadoes were confirmed throughout the afternoon and evening in Southeastern United States in states including Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas. Preliminary reports indicate that approximately 57 homes were impacted and 1.1 million customers were without power throughout the impacted areas. Additionally, media reported 22 deaths.
