On 8 April 2020, the city government of Ubá, Minas Gerais, Brazil, published a report on the consequences of a flood caused by heavy rain on Tuesday 7 April 2020. The report indicates this to be the greatest flood in the city's history, affecting 60,000 persons and displacing 432. Miragaia district within Ubá is not accessible due to the fall of a concrete bridge. Additionally, the two water treatment plants that supply the city have been affected and residents have been advised to save water.
