The Regional Program on Bioethics and the Quality and Regulation of Medicines and Health Technologies Unit invite you to participate in a series of virtual seminars addressing clinical trials topics that are novel or challenging for countries of the region. Many of these challenges lie at the intersection of ethical and regulatory aspects.
The first session, Animal research and the role of committees for the care and use of animals, presented the regulatory landscape on animal research in Latin America and the Caribbean and the international standards for the use of laboratory animals in research in accordance with the International guiding principles for biomedical research involving animals of CIOMS and ICLAS (2012)
