Join us on Tuesday, April 15th, from 8:00 to 9:30 am (Washington DC time) on the webinar "Strengthening integrated health and care approaches in humanitarian settings".

This webinar will build on a session held in July 2024 looking at the contextualization and adaptation of Integrated care for older people (ICOPE) approaches to community settings, focusing more directly on humanitarian or crisis contexts. There is an increased need to explore the rights and needs of older people in the different phases of the humanitarian responses in humanitarian settings and across the continuum of preparation, response, and recovery. Humanitarian settings typically expose and further widen pre-crises inequalities and inequities and exacerbate existing vulnerabilities. PAHO is supporting the event with the participation of PAHO-Venezuela and PAHO-HQ.
