This is the second webinar in the series "Best Practices in Editorial Processes of LILACS Scientific Journals (2024)," organized by BIREME as part of the program Strengthening Health Information Networks in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The webinar series "Best Practices in Editorial Processes of LILACS Scientific Journals (2024)" aims to promote the understanding of fundamental topics in scientific publishing to enhance the quality, positioning, and visibility of journals from Latin America and the Caribbean in the Health Sciences and related fields, indexed in LILACS (Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature).

Audience

Members of editorial teams of Latin American scientific journals in the Health Sciences area, already indexed in LILACS, seeking to be indexed in the database, or in the process of being created.

Context

Health Information Networks are essential to strengthen and expand the work carried out by BIREME in favor of BVS, LILACS, DeCS, and all the information sources and services that contribute to democratizing access to and visibility of scientific knowledge in health in Latin American and Caribbean countries.

The 2024 Calendar includes 19 meetings divided into 4 axes:

  3. Document Indexing according to LILACS Methodology
  4. Best Practices in Editorial Processes of LILACS Scientific Journals

All meetings are registered in the BVS Network Events Directory. Participate, follow the schedule, and add to your calendar. And, if you missed a session or want to review the presented content, access the presentations and session recordings.
