The Department of Noncommunicable Diseases and Mental Health (NMH) invites you to participate in the launch event of  “ENLACE, the PAHO Data Portal on Noncommunicable Diseases, Mental Health and External Causes" on Tuesday, 18 January 2022 from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm (EST).

Recognizing the value and relevance of data for accelerating the efforts to achieve regional and national commitments, as well as the organization’s mandates and action plans, the Department of NMH has been applying innovative approaches to improve access to reliable data and information, and their use to support decision-making and guide technical cooperation activities. In this context, the NMH Department developed the PAHO data portal on noncommunicable diseases, mental health, and external causes (ENLACE).

This virtual event will introduce ENLACE and showcase some of the relevant topics, including their interactive visualizations and tools. This event will serve as an opportunity to share new content and tools to support regional and national efforts to reduce the impact of noncommunicable diseases, mental health conditions, and violence and injuries on the population of the Americas.
