Join us for the next EMTignite: "Water supply in EMT deployments" which will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024, at 11:00 am EST/WDC.
The webinar will introduce how to strengthen water supply capacity during the deployment of Emergency Medical Teams (EMTs) while responding to disasters or epidemics. It will review the equipment and consumables needed, as well as the technical know-how to effectively carry out the water supply process, from water collection to consumption, including transport, storage, treatment and disinfection.
At the event, the official presentation of the Water Supply for Emergency Medical Team Deployment course available on PAHO's Virtual Public Health Campus will be made. This introductory course on water supply in an EMT is intended for all related Emergency Medical Team operational personnel involved and/or interested in the design, equipment procurement, and operation of the potable water supply process during a deployment.
