In the United States, influenza activity was at interseasonal levels, while SARS-CoV-2 activity remained high, although decreasing; RSV activity continued increasing.
Caribbean: Overall, influenza activity remained low, and influenza A(H3N2) predominated. Dominica, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Saint Lucia reported increased SARS-CoV-2 activity. RSV activity continued to increase in the Dominican Republic.
Central America: Overall, influenza activity remained stable at low levels, predominating influenza A(H3N2). In El Salvador, influenza activity increased to moderate-intensity levels, predominating influenza A(H3N2). In Panama, increased SARS-CoV-2 activity was reported, although decreasing. In Nicaragua, RSV activity is increasing.
Andean Countries: Overall, influenza activity remained low, with influenza A(H3N2) predominance. SARS-CoV-2 activity continues elevated in Bolivia, Ecuador, and Peru.
Brazil and Southern Cone: Overall, influenza activity remained low, with the detection of influenza A(H1N1)pdm09, influenza B (lineage undetermined), and the predominance of influenza A(H3N2). The SARS‑CoV-2 activity was low throughout the subregion, except in Argentina. In Uruguay, RSV activity continues to increase.
