Regional Network of Focal Points for Combating Counterfeit Medicines: Session Summary, October 8, 2015 (in Spanish)

Created in 2015, this Network actively promotes the exchange of strategic information and health alerts of medical products among its members, providing a rapid notification system to the region and the Global Surveillance and Monitoring System when incidents occur.

The focal points that make up the Network are technical representatives appointed by the NRAs of all Latin American and Caribbean countries, who are responsible for actions related to the prevention, detection, and response to substandard, falsified, unregistered, and stolen medical products.
