Overview

This module on Diagnosis and Management of Type 2 Diabetes is based on World Health Organization (WHO) guidance on the diagnosis, classification and treatment of diabetes. It is in line with the WHO set of essential interventions against noncommunicable diseases, and can be used independently or in conjunction with the HEARTS technical package developed to improve cardiovascular health. Target audiences may vary based on context, existing health systems, and national priorities.
