Health Workers Perception and Migration in the Caribbean Region

Countries in the Caribbean region are known to have high rates of overall emigration. In relative terms, most migrants are from Guyana and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines with a emigrant population of 58.2 percent and 55.5 percent, respectively, compared to the size of the population living at home. In the United States, the largest number of immigrants from the English Caribbean countries are from Jamaica, Guyana, and Trinidad and Tobago.
