Since the 11 December 2020 PAHO/WHO Epidemiological Update on COVID-19 and as of 14 January 2021, 11,409,052 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19, including 179,547 deaths, have been reported in the Region of the Americas, representing a 28% increase in cases and a 19% increase in deaths.
