The global coalition of communities, civil societies, social organizations, health professionals, scientists, agroecologists, academic institutions, educators, artists, activists, and indigenous peoples' representatives, have united with the goal to amplify the collective voice at the UN General Assembly High-Level Meeting on AMR.Building on the initiative “Empowered Communities to Tackle Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR)”, they call for a cohesive global response and for a recognition of the importance of community and civil society engagement within the UN declaration on AMR.With gratitude and enthusiasm, we call for the human right to health and life. We affirm that holistic approaches to AMR, rooted in social participation and global collaboration, are the key to effective solutions.
