This report describes public health events detected, assessed, and reported from 2001 to 2020, with a primary focus on the year 2020, in three WHO Regions: Africa, the Americas, and Europe. The data on public health events that occurred in States Parties from 2001 to 2020 were recorded by WHO in its Event Management System (EMS), a password-protected web-based tool accessible to professional personnel at WHO Country, Regional, and Headquarter Office levels. |
