In Bolivia, the initiative focuses on two of the nine departments, La Paz and Oruro, and reaches ten municipalities. Actions include, but are not limited to the development of community health, the promotion and incorporation of traditional health practices in the national health system, the strengthening of health information systems, the development of sexual and reproductive health capacities and the prevention and treatment of anemia in women and children.
