An opportunity exists at the Pan American Health Organization/World Health Organization (PAHO/WHO) Guyana Country Office for a National Consultant to support technical cooperation on Neglected Infectious Diseases.
Education and experience:
1. A university degree in a health-related profession from a recognized university is required.
2. A medical or relevant graduate degree will be an asset.
3. Eligible consultants must have a minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience, with knowledge of the functioning of both the public sector and in an international organization.
4. Experience in the health field, including the development, management, and knowledge of implementation of large-scale field campaigns in any capacity will be an asset.
Languages:
Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English.
