The interactive scorecard highlights the country's capacity for the prevention and control of noncommunicable diseases (NCDs) and the progress achieved in the implementation of national commitments included in the 2011 UN Political Declaration and the 2014 UN Outcome Document of NCDs. It showcases regional results from the NCD Progress Monitor, including information on the key NCD indicators for the four rounds of the NCD Progress Monitor across all countries in the Region of the Americas. This interactive tool aims to promote understanding of the national response to NCDs and assist decision-making for NCD program improvement.
Note that the achievement criteria for some indicators have changed throughout 2015, 2017, 2020, and 2022 rounds of NCD Progress Indicators; therefore, some indicators must not be compared across years. Before comparing indicators across the years, it is suggested to review the achievement criteria for each indicator.
