Situation Report No 47 - Dengue Epidemiological Situation in the Region of the Americas - Epidemiological Week 47, 2024

Between epidemiological weeks (EW) 1 and 47 of 2024, a total of 12,673,750 suspected cases of dengue were reported, resulting in a cumulative incidence of 1,327 per 100,000 population. This represents an increase of 197% compared to the same period in 2023 and 372% compared to the average of the last 5 years. Figure 1 shows the trend of suspected dengue cases as of EW 47.
