Between epidemiological weeks (EW) 1 and 23 of 2024, a total of 9,852,482 suspected cases of dengue were reported, resulting in a cumulative incidence of 1,044 per 100,000 population. This represents an increase of 231% compared to the same period in 2023 and 420% compared to the average of the last 5 years. Figure 1 shows the trend of suspected dengue cases as of EW 23.
