Between epidemiological weeks (EW) 1 and 16 of 2024, a total of 6,769,140 suspected cases of dengue were reported, resulting in a cumulative incidence of 717 per 100,000 population. This figure represents an increase of 206% compared to the same period in 2023 and 387% compared to the average of the last 5 years. Figure 1 shows the trend of suspected dengue cases as of EW 16.
